STRUCTURE REPAIR CONSULTANT
- Conducting structural audit/ Non-Destructive Testing of Structure.
- Determine Nature & Scope of Repairs/ Retrofitting.
- Providing Design/ Drawings/ Cost estimate/Specifications for the proposed repair work.
- Supervising/ Quality control of the material and work as per the specifications
Methodology of structure repair work
- Remove all the loose concrete/ cover completely and clean the reinforcement with wire brush.
- Apply Rusticide or equivalent by means of cotton waste swab to the exposed corroded reinforcement and new reinforcement.
- After 24 hours apply a passivating coat of Plyalkep Fixoprime or equivalent and cement slurry in 1:1:5 proportion to the chemically derusted surface of steel.
- Immediately place ready mix polymer modified mortar .
